Dr. Marty had a life-changing experience with chiropractic as a teenager and has had a passion to serve with his hands ever since. He has been on 20 mission trips including 14 trips to Honduras, two trips to the Ukraine and the remainder in the United States. His gentle spirit and compassion is evident to his patients. He enjoys working with patients of all ages "from cradle to grave". In his spare time, he enjoys wood-working, Bible reading, ATV riding, gardening, maintaining his fruit trees and tinkering on his tractor.

Dr. Sharon knew she wanted to be a chiropractor after having a complete resolution from sciatic pain after 3 visits to a chiropractor in high school. Her passion is helping patients recover from auto accident, sports and work injuries. She is a member of the Smart Injury Doctors who specialize in diagnosing the exact spinal level and severity of ligament damage resulting from accidents and injuries. She has served on 4 mission trips to Honduras as well as "ground zero" in NY City after 9-11, Belize and the Montana Crow Indian Nation. Away from the office, she enjoys exercising, camping, water sports, riding ATVs, reading and volunteering with AWANA (a local youth Bible program), a middle school youth group and the Monmouth-Independence Food Project which serves our local Ella Curran Food Bank.

Dr. August is the newest member of the Thornton Chiropractic team. He grew up in his chiropractic family and later interned at Thornton Chiropractic for 6 months prior to graduation. He officially joined the practice in January 2025. He has a passion for treating patients and educating them on promoting their bodies' overall health and wellness. He is also a Smart Injury Doctor with specialized training in auto and work injuries. He participated in his first chiropractic mission trip to Honduras in March 2025 and has served on 6 other mission trips growing up. In his down time, he continues to work with his hands on projects including miniature painting, diorama creations as well as exercising, growing succulents and volunteering with the Monmouth-Independence Food Project which serves our local Ella Curran Food Bank.
